Rajasthan trip- Udaipur

Haven't renew my blog for a long time......

I went to Rajasthan (A provice in India) for 10 days, it was a nice trip!
First we took a cab from Ghaziabad to Delhi, then took a bus to Udaipur.
The bus from Delhi to Udaipur was 17 hours long and without AC!!!!
Fortunatlly, we bought sleeper ticket, although it was not very comfortable, but still OK!

Udaipur is a city that we start to like it since arrived.
The weather is much cooler than Ghaziabad, and people there are also very friendly.
We choosed a roof-top restaurant as our first meal.
Roof-top restauranta are very common in some tourist city, they would be more expensive but it is an easy way for you to take a rest, feel the breeze and see the beautiful view on there.
When we visit a Hindu temple, all the people are sitting infront of a door in the central building. We wer very curious about the reason, and a local women use her body language to ask us sit down and wait.
4pm, the gate open, inside the door is their god. People pray to him, donate some money, put some holy water on their head and leave.
Someone told us, the god would take a rest from 10am to 4pm (not sure about the time), so they sit there and wait until 4pm he wakes up!
Really interesting!!
City palace is the most famous tourist spot in this city, it has very fency decoration inside and outside the palace.

The second night in Udaipur, we were invited to a local's house and had a dinner there.
The host is an artist.
He and his wife, daughter are all very interesting and hospitable.
They treat us a nice meal in their home, all made by his wife!
After the meal, they took out a lot of rings, necklaces, earings, some other Indian decoration to dress me up! Ha, that is really really interesting!

His wife even took out the same Sari that she wore in her wedding 18 years ago and put it on me!!!

The host always said "treat here as your home".
In that beabtiful night, I really felt like I was at home!
Their hospitable really touched me a lot, I am so glad that I had a chance to go to their house and had a wonderful night!!
Thank you so much!
