Wonderful trip to Dharamsala

Last Wednesday, just after SBM mid-term exam, we departed from Ghaziabad to Dharamsala.
First, took auto to Dishard Garden and took metro to New Delhi.
And then, took auto to Tibetan village, fianally took bus ticket to Dharamsala.
Dharamsala is in the north of India, and it's far from Delhi, so it took 13 hours by bus!!!
It was really a torture on the bus...

When we arrived Dharamsala, it was about 7am, and WOW!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

Because Dharamsala is now the place where Tibetan goverment in- exile located after they escaped from China, many Tibetan people followed them and live there right now.
Dharamsala can splite into 3 parts, and most of the resident are Tibetan in one of the part.
In that part, it looks really not India, just like Tibet!
Tibetan people, food, buddhist temple, and lots of colorful flags.
Although I've never been to Tibet before, but I guess it should be similar~

Some part of Tibetan culture is similar to Taiwanese culture, also the food is not like Indian food but more like Chinese food.
This give us chances to escape from Indian food and had some other country food. HA
Really like a Tibetan food called "涼皮", hmm~so yummy!!! I don't know how to find 涼皮 in any other place T_T

Dharamsala is in the area of Himalaya; it's a city in the mountain, so it's easy to rain and the weather changs very fast.
When I had breakfast outside, I felt so hot and took of my heavy jacket and ready to put some suntan lotion, but after 10 mins, it became so foggy and cold!
Usually it would rain in the afternoon, but maybe just about 1 hour, and became sunny day again.
When it is raining, most of the tourist go to coffee shop or go to post office to send postcards!

In the first day, when we walked on the road to Tibetan goverment, we met a Maxico girl, and she invited us to go with her and having a one hour Buddhist class.
This is not my first time to attend Buddhist class, but it was my first time to have a Buddhist class in TIBETAN and ENGLISH!
The teacher is a Tibetan Lama, he spoke in Tibetan and there is a tranlator who translate into English!
Though it was really nice, but I couldn't concentrate because I was so sleepy after taking 13 hours bus... shame on me....
In the evening, we went to a "Cinama". It claim it's a cinama, but actually, it's a little basement with projector, big screen, stereo and about 15 seats.
The cinama looks dirty, dark and strange, really scary.
In the begining, only two of us were in the basement.
Fortunately, some people joined us later, made me more relax~ actually it was not that bad, haha
(The movie we watched was "Knowing", and it was really bad...)

In the second day, we went to see waterfull, Tibetan museum and Daralama's temple.
I need to say, after visiting Tibetan museum, I felt really sad about Tibet.
They suffered so many terrible things, and finally escaped to India to establish their new life in a totally different environment.
Just can't imagin how hard it would be to accept this fact and try to stand up again after the tragedy...
They are still very peaceful now and without any anger about their destiny, so brave they are!!!
After the meseum, I respect them more!
In the evening, we had a dinner with some friends that we met on the bus from Delhi to Dharamsala, and their friends.
Totally, there were two Taiwanese, three Japanese and one India-Swiss joined the meal!
Andreas and I learned some Japanese before, and the Indian can speak German and a little Chinese, so we had English, German, Japanese and Mandarin during the meal!!! So cool!
It was really a wonderful wonderful meal.
All our new friends are so friendly, and we laughed a lot!
So pity that we don't have more time to talk, I really hope we can meet in some other place in the future.
Yuko and Watatu will keep traveling for 2 and 3 years, Sho would go back to Japan after 2 month, and Mesum will go mountain biking.

In the last day, we went to see "Karmapa(大寶法王)". (To see more information about Karmapa in HERE)
I got a cotton knit from him, and it can protect you from harm and danger.
This is extermly important for me!!

There was a Tibetan, Phurgar, took us to visit Karmapa and went to a special Tibetan school.
He is a person that we met him in the Kunting (restaurant) of Tibetan goverment.
Phurgar is really friendly and decide to took us around there to see some special place.
Visiting Karmapa and the special Tibetan school were all because of Phurgar's help.
Really want to thank him for everything.

Tibetan is really a peaceful and friendly race, I like them very much.
Wish they can live better and better in the future :)
